realme Brings the Buds Air 2, Buds Air 2 Neo to the Philippines

Aside from launching a new entry-level smartphone with the C25, realme also brought its latest TWS earbuds to the Philippines with the Buds Air 2 and Buds Air 2 Neo. Both budget TWS earbuds stand out by offering Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) at an affordable price point. Both also have common features like Google Fast Pair, Bass Boost+, support for AAC codecs, 88ms low-latency mode, and an IPx5 rating.

The more affordable Buds Air 2 Neo gets a redesign: it looks similar to the entry-level Buds Q┬ábut sport an iridescent finish for the touch controls, along with an LED indicator light on the charging case and the USB-C port on the back. Powering the Buds Air 2 Neo’s ANC is realme’s R2 chip, which the brand claims can filter up to 25db of noise. You get a 10mm liquid crystal polymer for the drivers.

On the other hand, the more premium Buds Air 2 features a 10mm diamond-like carbon driver for better overall sound quality, along with a unique two-tone finish on the earbuds themselves. Like the Buds Air 2 Neo, you get an R2 chip inside the Buds Air 2 to take care of the ANC feature. Like its Neo sibling, the Buds Air 2 can filter up to 25db of noise. You also get smart wear detection, dual-channel transmission, and Bluetooth 5.2, justifying its premium over the Buds Air 2 Neo.

Both the Buds Air 2 and Buds Air 2 Neo are highly customizable via the realme Link app, where you can map controls, choose your desired EQ, and adjust noise cancellation settings.
