As a successor to the affordable Buds Air Neo from 2020, realme announced the Buds Air 2 Neo in Pakistan with a look that’s different from its predecessor. This time around, the Buds Air 2 Neo looks closer to the Buds Q with their compact design. Making them distinguishable over the Buds Q is the iridescent finish used for the touch controls, along with an LED indicator light on the charging case and the USB-C port on the back.
While it looks similar to the Buds Q, the Buds Air 2 Neo’s main highlight is the inclusion of both ANC and ENC thanks to the realme R2 chip powering it. realme claims that the Buds air 2 Neo’s ANC can filter noise of up to 25db–it is lower than the Buds Air Pro‘s ANC, but nonetheless impressive as they are a budget pair of TWS earbuds.
Aside from ANC, the Buds Air 2 Neo borrows a few features from the Buds Air Pro such as transparency mode, Google Fast Pair, 88ms low-latency mode, bass boost+, and support for the realme Link app. As for battery life, realme claims that they can last for up to 7 hours on a single charge with ANC off and up to 5 hours with ANC On. Together with the charging case, the Buds Air 2 Neo can last for up to 28 hours with ANC off and up to 20 hours with ANC on. It also comes with fast charging, where a 10-minute top-up can give 3 hours of playback time. Other features include IPx5 rating, support for AAC codec, Bluetooth 5.2, and intelligent touch controls.
realme Buds Air 2 Neo price
The Buds Air 2 Neo is priced at Rs 7,999(~Php 2.6k) in Pakistan, which is a very competitive price for a pair of TWS Earbuds that have ANC built-in. They are available in Pakistan starting today, and we expect realme to make the Buds Air 2 Neo available in other countries including the Philippines.
