After confirming that the GT 2 Pro will be using a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, realme confirms that they will officially unveil the GT 2 series on December 20. The announcement poster implies that there will be a vanilla variant that will be launched alongside the much-talked-about GT 2 Pro. We don’t know much about the vanilla GT 2, but there are a lot of details about the GT 2 Pro.
Aside from the confirmed processor, the GT 2 Pro will reportedly have a 6.51-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with a 120hz refresh rate and in-display fingerprint scanner, LPDDR5 RAM, and as much as 1TB UFS 3.1 internal storage-the biggest ever on a realme phone. Other speculations include a visor-like rear camera module that houses three cameras: 50-megapixel f/1.5 main camera-possibly an IMX 766 sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a third camera that is said to be a telephoto shooter.
Other rumored features include 65w SuperDART charging and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
We should know more about their realme GT 2 series when they will be unveiled on December 20. Since there’s not much known about the vanilla GT 2, realme might do something similar to the Motorola Edge X30 where the GT 2 Pro will be divided into two versions: one with an under-display camera and one with a conventional punch-hole camera.
