After confirming that the GT 7 will be using a Dimensity 9400e processor that can go head to head with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, realme confirmed that the GT 7 will have the best combination of a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 120w charging. This is an industry-first, making the GT 7 known as the “battery life leader”.
This reveal follows the release of realme’s latest white paper, “The Future of Battery Tech,” developed in partnership with TÜV Rheinland. Some of the key insights include the demand for both longer battery life and fast charging, and that traditional lithium-ion batteries are hitting their limits.
Some of realme’s solutions to this is present with is 320w Supersonic charge, where it utilizes a multi-cell configuration with a precision BMS system and AI integration, along with magnetic-coupling DCX step-down technology. realme applied some of its learnings by adding support for 120w fast charging to a 7000mAh battery. This superb combo powers up the phone from 0 to 100% in just 40 minutes, allowing gamers to enjoy uninterrupted gameplay of up to 8.9 hours of Mobile Legends.
Aside from confirming the battery, charging, and processor, realme confirmed that the GT 7 will make its debut in the Philippines as well on May 27.
