The realme GT7 Pro is a Flagship with the Biggest Battery

It’s finally realme’s turn to unveil their Snapdragon 8 Elite phone with the official unveiling of the GT7 Pro in China. realme has been hyping up the GT7 Pro lately, as they claim it will be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite phone to be available globally.

Making it stand out is that it has the biggest battery on a flagship at 6500mAh, beating the Xiaomi 15 Pro by 400mAh. To top that off, the GT7 Pro offers faster wired charging speeds at 120w–though you don’t get wireless charging, which should not be a big deal.

Like recent flagships, the GT7 Pro follows the trend of using a micro-quad curved display, and it uses a 6.78-inch Samsung OLED display with a 120hz variable refresh rate, 1.5k resolution, a peak brightness of 6000nits, 120% DCI-P3 gamut coverage, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

The GT7 Pro has a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel IMX906 f/1.8 main shooter with OIS, an 8-megapixel IMX355 f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel IMX882 f/2.65 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. It can shoot in 4K Dolby Vision HDR, but we presume that’s for the main and telephoto cameras.

Other features include an IP68/69 rating, an IR blaster, and Android 15-based realmeUI 6.0 out of the box. The GT7 Pro is slated to receive 4 years of updates.

The realme GT7 Pro has a starting price of CNY 3599(~Php 30k) for the 12GB/256GB model. It is expected to be available in several countries outside of China in the coming weeks, though they have yet to give an official launch date in the Philippines.
