REDEMPTION: Galaxy S23 Sales Significantly Better vs S22 Sales

One of the reasons why people are all praises for the Galaxy S23 series is partly because Samsung has decided to use Snapdragon processors for all models regardless of region. While the upgrades are mostly incremental, especially for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the shift to Snapdragon processor gave great sales for Samsung globally.

To show you how big the impact is, reports from Korean media reveal that sales of the Galaxy S23 series is 1.7x higher than the Galaxy S22 series in major Latin America countries like Brazil and Mexico, while sales volume is 1.5x higher in Europe–which is notable, as they are the region that got the Exynos 2200 variant of the Galaxy S22 series. In the Middle East, the sales are 1.5x better, while it is 1.4x better in India.

Despite the Galaxy S23 Ultra being more expensive than its predecessor, it made up a whopping 60% of the sales volume of the S23 series, which shows that key upgrades like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy and the 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2 are enough to entice buyers.

How significant are the sales of the Galaxy S23 series? A post said that Samsung was able to sell 11 million Galaxy S23 units in 2 months, and the last time Samsung did well was during the S20 series, where it achieved 8.2 million units in the first month.
