Redmi A1+ Official: Entry-Level Xiaomi Phone with Android Go

Those looking for an affordable Xiaomi phone might have an option to consider with the Redmi A1+. This entry-level phone come with a Go version of Android 12, and is powered by a Helio A22 quad-core processor that’s paired with up to 3GB RAM and up to 32GB expandable storage. It comes with a dual rear camera setup that consists of an 8-megapixel main camera and a QVGA depth sensor.

For the display, you’re getting a 6.52-inch IPS display with a notch for the 5-megapixel selfie camera. Keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh battery that supports 10w charging. Unfortunately, charging the battery is done via MicroUSB. Other features of the phone include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and splash resistance.

The Redmi A1+ is available in India, and is priced at RS 7,499(~Php 5.3k) for the 2GB model and RS 8499(~Php 6k) for the 3GB model. There’s no word if it will be available in the Philippines, but Xiaomi will most likely bring it here since it has appeared on their global website.
