Redmi A3 Arrives in the Philippines with Php 4k Price

After it was announced in India last April 15, Xiaomi brought over the Redmi A3 to the Philippines as part of its surprise release for this year’s Fan Festival. Aside from that, the pricing of the Redmi A3 is lower in the Philippines compared to India, where the 4GB/128GB is priced at under Php 4k.

If that’s still too expensive for you, there’s also a 3GB/64GB version priced at Php 3,399. Those buying in Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop until April 27 will get a pair of Xiaomi Basic Piston earphones with their purchase.

To recap, the Redmi A3 has a bigger 6.71-inch display with a 90hz refresh rate, with its fingerprint scanner has been relocated to the side. The battery is still the same at 5000mAh, but it finally switches to USB-C at last. The large, circular camera module at the back houses the 8-megapixel main camera and a QVGA depth sensor.

You still get the same Helio G36 processor used on the Redmi A2, but you are now getting as much as 6GB RAM and 128GB storage on the Redmi A3, which allows it to run a full version of Android 14. Aside from looking like a “very affordable” Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the Redmi A3 is also the most affordable Xiaomi phone to have a vegan leather back option.
