Those wondering if the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will be made available outside of China finally got their answer, as Xiaomi made the gaming phone official globally as the POCO F3 GT.

Being dead similar to the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, the POCO F3 GT retains its China-only sibling’s gaming features like the physical pop-up triggers and graphene heat sink to keep temps stable. The display is a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120hz refresh rate, 480hz touch sampling rate, support for HDR10+ and DCI-P3, 10-bit color, and a centrally-placed punch-hole for the 20-megapixel selfie snapper.
Powering the POCO F3 GT is a Dimensity 1200 processor with up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Keeping the lights on is a 5065mAh battery with 67w wired charging.
For photography, the F3 GT gets a triple rear camera setup that comprises of a 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2-megapixel macro camera.

The F3 GT’s actual price is at INR 26,999(~Php 18.3k) for the 6GB/128GB model, INR 28,999(~Php 19.6k) for the 8GB/128GB model, and INR 30,999(~Php 21k) for the 8GB/256GB model. Pre-orders start on July 24 while actual sales start on July 26
POCO is going for a different approach when it comes to sales. For the first week, all three variants will be INR 1000 cheaper, while they become INR 500 cheaper come second week until they settle for their actual SRP on August 9.
