Is this the POCO X6 Neo?

With several China-only Redmi phones eventually making it globally as a POCO device, there are speculations that the recently launched Redmi Note 13R Pro in China might become the POCO X6 Neo globally.

We’re not surprised if that happens, as the Redmi Note 13R Pro’s design reminds us of the POCO X5 series. The camera module is a good giveaway, with two large circles having a 108-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The flat frame sides also remind us of the POCO X5 series; the same goes for the display.

According to the official specs sheet, the Redmi Note 13R Pro has a 6.67-inch 120hz AMOLED display, and those slim bezels are the same ones you’d find on the POCO X5’s Flow AMOLED displays. In terms of the internals, the Redmi Note 13R Pro is powered by a Dimensity 6080 processor (aka Dimensity 810) that’s paired with 256GB UFS 2.2 storage and 12GB LPDDR4X RAM. That’s a lot of RAM for an entry-level Redmi Note / POCO X phone, and it seems that this will be the trend with 2024 mid-range phones. The battery is a standard 5000mAh cell with the usual 33w charging.

There will only be one variant, and it’s priced at CNY 1999 in China or around Php 16k when converted. Should it become official globally as the POCO X6 Neo as speculated, we expect it to have a lower price and minor differences like the main camera reportedly being a 64-megapixel shooter instead of a 108-megapixel one.
