Redmi Note 14 Series Launching in PH on January 15

Xiaomi is busy this January: aside from confirming the global launch of the POCO X7 series on January 9, they also confirmed that the Redmi Note 14 series will launch in the Philippines and global markets on January 15. Aside from hinting at a new ambassador for the SEA region, Xiaomi confirms that the Redmi Note 14 series will get AI Erase Pro and AI Image expansion as part of its AI features.

Xiaomi is also teasing that the Redmi Note 14 series can shoot 200-megapixel photos, along with better durability with an IP68 rating and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for the display.

We’re expecting at least the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ as one of the models to be announced for global markets, and we’re interested: aside from debuting the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, this will be the first in the Redmi Note line where there are no filler cameras to be found. If the global version is the same as the China version, we expect the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will have a Light Hunter 800 sensor for the main camera with a f/1.6 aperture and OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom and 50cm macro capabilities.

So far, the only difference we know between the global and China version is with the battery and charging speed: Global models get a smaller 5110mAh battary but faster 120w wired charging.

Aside from the Redmi Note 14 series, Xiaomi is expected to announce three more products: the Redmi Watch 5, Redmi Buds 6 Pro, and a new 10000mAh power bank with 165w charging and an integrated USB-C cable.
