It’s no secret that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo eventually became official globally as the POCO F5. Those waiting for the POCO F6 should have more or less an idea, as Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Turbo 3 in China.Â
Positioning itself as a flagship killer, the Turbo 3’s headline feature is its use of a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor that’s paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. Its display is a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED panel with a 1.5k resolution, 120hz refresh rate, and 2400nits peak brightness.
The cameras in the back include a 50-megapixel LYT600 main camera with OIS, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 20-megapixel front camera. You get an AI-based object eraser feature, which sounds similar to what OPPO recently rolled out to its Reno11 series. It has a 5000mAh battery that supports 90w charging and comes with HyperOS out of the box. Other features include an IP64 rating and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Here are the Redmi Turbo 3 variants available in China:
- 12GB/256GB – CNY 1999(~Php 16k)
- 12GB/512GB – CNY 2299(~Php 18k)
- 16GB/512GB – CNY 2499(~Php 20k)
- 16GB/1TB – CNY 2799(~Php 22k)
The Redmi Turbo 3 will be available in China starting April 15, and we expect it to be official globally as the POCO F6 in the coming weeks.Â
