Samsung is not the only one boasting Generative AI features with the Galaxy S24 series: OPPO is also bringing Generative AI to the Reno11 series, as confirmed in their press release for their AI Center.

One of the highlights of its AI Center is having its language model called AndesGPT, which was introduced in the Find X7 series and boasts over 180 billion parameters. Some of the key features of OPPO’s language model include dialogue enhancement, personalization, and cloud-device collaboration.

“Next-gen AI Smartphones will represent the third major transformative stage in the mobile phone industry. In the era of AI Smartphones, both the mobile phone industry and user experience will witness revolutionary changes,” OPPO Chief Product Officer Pete Lau said.

Compared to Samsung’s efforts so far, OPPO is making Generative AI features accessible to the Reno11 series by the second quarter of 2024. One of the features that OPPO will roll out to the Reno11 series include AI eraser, which we presume helps you remove unwanted objects in your photos.

OPPO did not specify if all Reno11 variants will get Generative AI features (the Reno11 and Reno11 F use the same Dimensity 7050 processor), but it will be impressive if they even give the entry-level models roughly the same set of features.
