This Robot Vacuum Can Pick Up Trash

CES 2025 doesn’t fall short of unusual products, and perhaps one of our favorites is the Roborock Saros Z70, which is a robot vacuum that adds a mechanical arm for picking up trash while its cleaning floors. With a rumored price of $2000(~Php 118k), the Saros Z70 falls under the high end models of Roborock.

Let’s talk about its unusual feature: beyond the usual small obstacle avoidance tech that’s common in most robot vacuums, the Saros Z70 has an OmniGrip arm that unfolds on top of the robot vacuum to pick up trash. There’s a limit to what the OmniGrip can pick up: according to Roborock, items should weigh under 300g, and items that would fall under this include socks, paper, small towels, and lightweight shoes.

We’re not sure how useful is the Saros Z70’s robotic arm, but it does offer 22,000pa of suction power, which is more powerful than most robot vacuums out there.

If you’re interested in a robot vacuum that can pick up trash for you, Roborock will be shipping the Saros Z70 in April–and they have yet to announce any preorder details for it.
