We Think the ROG Falcata is Low-Key Genius

Let’s be real: hardcore PC gamers don’t necessarily use the entire keyboard while playing. That’s why ASUS thought that a split keyboard like the ROG Falcata makes sense.

Seeing it up close at COMPUTEX 2025, the idea of a 75% gaming keyboard that can be split in the middle is useful for gamers who usually only need the left part of the keyboard. With this approach, gamers gain extra space on the right side for their mouse. Games that are ideal for this setup are FPS titles and driving/flight simulator games. Connecting the two parts together is a USB-C cable, and the split design applies as well to the palm rest that has ROG branding on the right side.

Making the Falcata unique is that it uses hall-effect sensors so that you can customize the actuation force based on the games you’re playing. They’re hot swappable too, and use ROG’s HFX V2 magnetic switches that are pre-lubed, have a 0.1-3.5mm actuation that’s fine-tuned at 0.01mm intervals, and boast a 100 million keypress lifespan. It also has a solid built thanks to an aluminum frame. Since the left part of the keyboard will be used more often, you have a multifunction wheel and button that’s customizable according to the user’s needs.

ASUS has yet to set a price for the ROG Falcata, but honestly we want to get our hands on one soon.
