After going official globally last April 13, ASUS is finally bringing the ROG Phone 7 series to the Philippines with a very competitive starting price of Php 51k for the vanilla model.

Retaining the same design as the ROG Phone 6 series, ASUS simplified the lineup of the ROG Phone 7 series with only the vanilla and ultimate model. The vanilla ROG Phone 7 gets a glossy translucent finish on the upper part of its matte glass back panel and RGB lighting on the ROG logo, while the Ultimate version gets a rear display and an AeroActive Portal that we first saw on the ROG 6D Ultimate. Aside from the simplified lineup, the ROG Phone 7 series only comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor–no Dimensity processors this time around.

Despite looking similar to the ROG Phone 6 series, the ROG Phone 7 series get substantial upgrades: Aside from the processor, you are getting up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, support for WiFi 7, and higher-resolution 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The display now has a 1500nits max brightness and supports real-time SDR to HDR conversion, while the 50-megapixel IMX766 main camera has been tweaked further to include RAW super resolution and Light Trail Mode.

Also updated on the ROG Phone 7 series are the vapor chamber and graphite sheets, which ASUS claims should offer better thermal management compared to the ROG Phone 6 series.

ROG Phone 7 Philippines Price

The ROG Phone 7 is priced at Php 50,995 for the 12GB/256GB model and Php 54,995 for the 16GB/512GB model. The Ultimate version, which includes the AeroActive Cooler 7, is priced at Php 69,995 for the 16GB/512GB model.
