After launching a few months ago, ASUS is bringing over the ROG Phone 9 series to the Philippines. What makes the ROG Phone 9 series interesting is that they are offering one that has an early bird price of under Php 40k. You heard that right: there’s an ROG Phone that’s relatively affordable.
The model that’s priced at under Php 40k (for an early bird pricing) is the ROG Phone 9 FE, which is based mostly on the ROG Phone 8 Pro with its use of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This one has 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, and the only downgrade it has from the ROG Phone 8 Pro is it only has a macro camera instead of a telephoto camera.
As for the ROG Phone 9 Pro, ASUS is offering it in two models: the regular Pro version has 16GB LPDRR5X RAM and 512GB UFS storage, while the Pro Edition has 24GB RAM and 1TB storage, along with the AeroActive Cooler X Pro included in the box.
To recap, some of the upgrades on the ROG Phone 9 Pro include the use of a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a higher 185hz refresh rate on the display, and a slightly bigger 5800mAh battery.
The official price of the ROG Phone 9 series in the Philippines is as follows:
- ROG Phone 9 FE 12GB/256GB – Php 44,995 (Php 39,995 early bird price)
- ROG Phone 9 Pro 16GB/512GB – Php 62,995
- ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition 24GB/1TB and AeroActive Cooler X Pro – Php 76,995
Those who will avail of the early bird promo until March 27 will also get the ROG Chill case and ROG Antibacterial Glass Screen Protector with their purchase.
