As we wait for the Pixel 2 family to be launched on October 5, a new set of rumors have been popping up. We know that the Pixel 2 family will sport a Snapdragon 835 chip (not an 836 as previously rumored), and now we got news that both Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones will be IP68 rated, according to 9To5Google. In addition, they also said that both Pixel 2 phones will be available in 64GB and 128GB capacity, will be shipping with Android Oreo (8.1) out of the box, and have an always-on ambient display. As for their cameras, expect EIS on both phones as low light photography is the top priority.

As both phones will be going the iPhone 7 route of ditching the headphone jack, it is said that Google will be including a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter for both Pixel 2 phones, which sounds like a good trade off.
