Samsung is bringing back an iconic feature in their new Galaxy Watch6 Classic – the rotating bezel. Samsung weirdly removed this feature in last year’s offering, despite it probably being one of the best innovations their wearables had in the Philippines.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 and Watch6 Classic offered in the Philippines both come with all the features you’d come to expect from a wearable from the brand, including two size options, LTE options via eSIM, and multiple health tracking and exercise options.
The Galaxy Watch6 doesn’t get the rotating bezel sadly (that’s only a feature on the Galaxy Watch6 Classic), and the new wearable comes in both 44mm and 40mm formats. The screens are larger this time around VS. last year, coming at 1.5 inches and 1.3 inches, respectively.
The Galaxy Watch6 Classic has the same size displays, though the actual watch faces are slightly bigger at 47mm and 43mm, respectively. The displays are both AMOLED and have sapphire crystal protection on top. Internally the two wearables have improved hardware, sporting the new Exynos W930 chipset with a dual-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage.
Samsung has improved the software side of things, with the watches now being intelligent enough to combine data from skin temperature sensors and the heart rate monitor to give more in-depth sleep insight. These watches also offer the full gamut of health tracking features: ECG, Heart rate & HR alert, blood pressure, menstrual cycle prediction, and fall detection.
