Apple just announced iOS 26 a few days ago and it was…underwhelming to say the least. The new liquid glass design for their UI is very polarizing, even for the Apple faithful, and many of the features that iOS 26 brings has already existed for years in Android phones, something Samsung gleefully reminded the brand in three tweets.
Specifically, Samsung has had Live Translation functionality on their phones since the Galaxy S24 and the company’s One UI 7 already offers new icons, fluid animations and more.
Apple has always taken the safe route when it comes to introducing new features in its phones and software, but their slow pace especially when it comes to AI-enabled features like live translation has allowed their competitors to leapfrog over them.

Samsung’s trolling hasn’t always been on point, since we all remember the time when the Korean company made fun of Apple for removing the headphone jack only to do the same thing itself a few years later. Still, Liquid Glass’ transparent design elements (which looks quite a lot like Windows Vista) and the addition of QoL features that should have been added long ago has given both Samsung and Android fanboys another thing to poke Apple fans with.
