Siri’s Apple Intelligence Features is Getting Delayed Further

The push for Apple Intelligence is nothing but sloppy as compared to other AI software from other phone brands, and Apple takes another hit with upgrading Siri with Apple Intelligence. While Apple Intelligence for Siri should arrive sometime in April with iOS 18.4, it seems that Apple is delaying it further to within this year, which is a big shame considering that TECNO is integrating DeepSeek into its AI software and other brands like OPPO, HONOR, and Samsung are exploring various useful ways for AI to make the user experience better.

In a statement sent by Apple spokeswoman Jacqueline Roy to Daring Fireball, they said that “it’s going to take us longer than we thought to deliver on these features and we anticipate rolling them out in the coming year.” We don’t know what’s causing the delay for Apple to add AI features to Siri like ChatGPT integration, but one possible explanation is that Apple has a hard time rolling out all Apple Intelligence features globally.

For one, Apple had to find a suitable partner in China for Apple Intelligence, wherein it recently sealed a deal with Alibaba. “They talked to a number of companies in China. In the end, they chose to do business with us. They want to use our AI to power their phones. We feel extremely honored to do business with a great company like Apple,” Alibaba chairman Joe Tsai said.

Whatever the case may be, Apple has to speed up the rollout of its AI features as soon as possible, as those from other tech brands are evolving and offering more to the table than that Apple Intelligence has in store.
