The Galaxy A15 Starts at Php 10k in the Philippines

Aside from the Galaxy A25, Samsung is also bringing over both the 4G and 5G variants of the Galaxy A15 to the Philippines with a starting price of Php 9,990 for the 4G-only 4GB/128GB variant. Should you want 5G connectivity, the 5G version is just Php 1k more expensive for the same variant.

The only difference between the 4G and 5G versions of the Galaxy A15 is with the processor: the 4G version uses a Helio G99, while the 5G version uses a Dimensity 6100+ (which is a rebranded Dimensity 700 for those not aware). Both versions also have an 8GB/256GB variant, which is an additional Php 4k from the 4GB/128GB variant.

Save for that key difference, both versions of the Galaxy A15 come with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90hz refresh rate and a notch for a 13-megapixel selfie shooter. The triple rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel macro camera, while keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh battery that supports 25w charging.

Just like the Galaxy A25, the Galaxy A15 also employs Samsung’s “Key Island” design language where the power button/fingerprint scanner is slightly raised from the frame. You also get broad software support with the Galaxy A15, where you have up to 4 major updates and up to 5 years of security updates.

With the under Php 10k starting price of the Galaxy A15 in the Philippines, Samsung is catching up nicely with the competition–especially with its use of a Helio G99 processor on the 4G version.
