Pre-orders start at the last day of MWC 2018
Following confirmation that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will launch during MWC 2018, pre-orders and release date for the much-awaited flagship from Samsung have been confirmed by Evan Blass from a “C-level executive”:
According to a C-level executive at a major casemaker, the go-to-market schedule for Galaxy S9 / S9+ is as follows:
Launch – 2/26
Pre-orders – 3/1
Ships/releases – 3/16— Evan Blass (@evleaks) January 16, 2018
Yes you read that right: The Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be on sale by mid-March, with pre-orders starting on March 1—the last day of MWC 2018. While their release date is a month earlier than the Galaxy S8 and S8+ last year, do remember that Samsung did delay the launch for the two models following the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. Should all things go well, it is just a matter of time before we can see the Galaxy S9 and S9+ in the flesh.
