Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Renders, Rumored Specs Surface

Samsung is prepping for the Galaxy Tab S8 series next year. Aside from rumors about a huge Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with a 14.6-inch 120hz AMOLED display, renders of the vanilla Galaxy Tab S8 have surfaced courtesy of OnLeaks. Without any surprise, the design of the Galaxy Tab S8 will largely remain unchanged from the Galaxy Tab S7. Looking through the renders, the Galaxy Tab S8 will have the same 11-inch, 120hz IPS LCD panel, along with a flat back and flat frame to give it a boxy appearance.

Like its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S7 will have antenna cutouts in the back, along with a magnetic strip for the S-Pen and a module housing a 13-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. In addition to that, the Galaxy Tab S8 is said to have a fingerprint scanner embedded on the power button even if the renders say otherwise.

According to previous rumors, the Galaxy Tab S8 will have 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage, along with an 8000mAh battery that supports 45w charging. It will also come with an 8-megapixel selfie snapper and a quad-speaker system. We do not know what processor it will use, but previous reports point to a Snapdragon 888.

When it comes to pricing, reports speculate that the Galaxy Tab S8 will be more expensive than its predecessor at $840(~Php 42.7k). That is even higher than the initially rumored price of KRW 829000(~Php 35.6k).

Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Tab S8 series in early 2022.
