An even faster Galaxy S5 goes on sale in its home country
Thought the Galaxy S5 was fast? Well, it just got faster, at least in Samsung’s home country Korea. The electronics giant is offering their countrymen an updated version of the Galaxy S5 with Qualcomm’s latest chip, the Snapdragon 805, an increased resolution thanks to the new 5.1-inch 2,560 x 1,440 display (that’s around 577 ppi) and blistering fast LTE via LTE-A.

The new variant, simply dubbed as the S5 LTE-A, supports download speeds of up to 255Mb/s. There’s talk that this may be the Galaxy S5 Prime that has been making the rounds in rumorland, though we won’t know until the company announces it for real.
