Samsung working on a Rollable OLED Display

A different way we use displays?

Last year, we got hyped up with the thought of foldable display smartphones, starting with the ZTE Axon M. with various brands developing their own take to the foldable display smartphone, Samsung has something different on mind, innovation-wise.

Just like LG, Samsung is currently working on rollable OLED displays. Right now, there are two concepts: One being cylindrical, and the other square-shaped. Both concepts are held together by magnets, activated via a fingerprint sensor. Check out the concept photos below:

 

 

 

We’re not sure where Samsung plans to use this tech, but we find it cool if they plan to implement it on smartphones. What do you think guys?
