Not so impressive specs for the foldable phone
Remember ZTE’s foldable Axon M? Well, that particular phone recently visited Geekbench’s website, and to tell you the truth we’re a little underwhelmed with what we saw.
The ZTE Axon M will apparently be running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 chipset, along with 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 530 GPU. Now, don’t get us wrong – the SD 821 chipset is still plenty powerful on its own, but we were honestly expecting something more powerful, like say the Snapdragon 835.
In any case, the Adreno 530 GPU used by the SD 821 is still powerful enough to drive the twin full HD displays that have a total resolution of 2,160 x 1,920. Other specs that the Axon M’s visit to Geekbench revealed 32GB of built-in storage, Android Nougat as well as a single 20-megapixel rear camera and a 3,120mAh battery.
The Axon M is set to be unveiled by ZTE in Brooklyn, NY on October 17.
