Snapdragon 8 Elite Phones in the Philippines (Q1)

Snapdragon 8 Elite Phones in the Philippines (Q1)

As we close the first quarter of 2025, we have a good lineup of Snapdragon 8 Elite phones in the Philippines. Contrary to initial concerns that phones using this flagship chip will be expensive, we’re surprised that there are affordable offerings made for those who prioritize having the latest and greatest chip above everything else.

For this list, we round up all the Snapdragon 8 Elite phones that are officially available in the Philippines–and include a bonus pick that we expect will arrive this April:

The entire Galaxy S25 Series

Samsung is fair to its entire Galaxy S25 series, as they get the Snapdragon 8 Elite regardless of variant. That makes it relatively affordable with a starting price of Php 51,990 for the 12GB/256GB version of the base Galaxy S25. Aside from being the first in the Philippines, the entire Galaxy S25 series uses a higher-clocked version that’s made specifically for Samsung, which is why they perform better than the rest of the Snapdragon 8 Elite phones in this list.

OnePlus 13

We all love a good redemption arc, and the OnePlus 13 is the best example of it this year. With a starting price of Php 54,990 for the 12GB/256GB model, the OnePlus 13 is a well-rounded flagship–not just with using a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, but also with a large battery that’s power-efficient and those Hasselblad-tuned triple camera setup that impressed us–and shown improvements over the OnePlus 12.

Xiaomi 15

It’s crazy that Xiaomi managed to offer its Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship for Php 45,999 with the 12GB/256GB variant, proving that phones with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest chip will not necessarily put major damage to your wallet. While HyperOS still needs to catch up with other Android UI skins, we’re happy to report that those Leica-branded cameras have improved significantly–which shows that Xiaomi is taking its camera game seriously, especially for its flagship phones.

ROG Phone 9 Pro

Gaming phones will benefit from the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and the ROG Phone 9 Pro uses it. With a starting price of Php 62,995, the ROG Phone 9 Pro is a refinement from the ROG Phone 8 Pro, pairing the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with a bigger battery and better software for the ultimate gaming experience. If you want to go all out, the ROG Phone 9 Pro has an absurd 24GB/1TB variant for Php 76,995 that can run all of the latest AAA mobile games at their highest resolution with ease.

POCO F7 Ultra

Fresh from its official launch in Singapore, the F7 Ultra takes the crown for being the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite phone with a starting price of Php 36,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant. That’s insane for POCO to keep the price of its first Ultra phone at under Php 40k: while we have mixed thoughts on its cameras, you’ll have a hard time finding a Snapdragon 8 Elite phone that’s priced like a flagship killer.

BONUS: HONOR Magic7 Pro

While it is not yet officially available in the Philippines, all signs point to HONOR bringing its latest flagship to the country soon. We don’t expect it to match Xiaomi and POCO in terms of price, but we’re more excited about the Magic7 Pro’s cameras–especially with out experience with the Magic7 Pro in Beijing, where HONOR makes use of both the periscope camera and AI tricks to get detailed photos even from afar.

That rounds up our list of Snapdragon 8 Elite phones that are available (and coming soon) to the Philippines. Which one do you plan to get?
