Sony Confirms MWC 2020 Presence: What Phones will they Launch?

Will we see successors to the Xperia 1 and Xperia 10?

Just a month before MWC 2020, Sony has confirmed that they will be holding a press launch on February 24.

The invite does not hint on anything, but there are at least two possible Xperia phones that will launch on MWC 2020.

The first one is a successor to the Xperia 1 rumored to be called the Xperia 3 (or Xperia 5 Plus). The said phone was allegedly spotted in Geekbench carrying model number PM-1310. The said phone will rock a Snapdragon 865 processor, 12GB RAM, and Android 10 out of the box. This phone might be the one that will sport a six-rear camera setup. The setup will have a 48-megapixel, 12-megapixel, 20-megapixel, 8-megapixel, and ToF sensors. The first two sensors will have a variable aperture (f/1.5 and f/2.4, just like with the Galaxy S9 and S10 series), while the other four sensors will have an f/2.4 aperture.

The other phone is a mid-range offering said to replace the Xperia 10. Carrying the model number K8220, the Geekbench listing confirms that Sony’s next mid-range offering will have a Snapdragon 765G processor, 8GB RAM, and Android 10 out of the box.
