TECNO has a solid presence at MWC 2024, and the POVA 6 Pro is among one of the many products it is debuting. As a follow-up to last year’s POVA 5 Pro, the POVA 6 Pro aims to help TECNO keep its throne for budget gaming king.

The biggest change on the POVA 6 Pro is that it is thinner than its predecessor at 7.88mm while packing a bigger 6000mAh battery. The POVA 6 Pro uses a high-density battery to maintain its slim profile while giving it a jump in battery capacity. The POVA 6 Pro supports 70w charging, making it also the fastest-charging budget phone in the market right now. The gamer-inspired back retains the Dynamic-Light system in the back, which is customizable according to your needs.
You get the same Dimensity 6080 processor and 256GB expandable internal storage on the POVA 6 Pro, but RAM is bigger at 12GB, allowing you to multitask between games better. The display is also the same: a quality 6.78-inch 120hz AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. You also get stereo speakers to complement that display, along with a headphone jack for those who prefer wired earphones.
While the POVA 6 Pro does not prioritize cameras, it gets a few upgrades with a 32-megapixel selfie shooter and a 108-megapixel main camera that can shoot 2K video. The POVA 6 Pro also comes with Android 14 out of the box, making it the first TECNO product to have the latest version of Android.
TECNO has yet to reveal the price of the POVA 6 Pro in the Philippines, but global pricing starts at $229(~Php 13k) for the 8GB/256GB model. Â
