TECNO’s Spark 20 Series is Getting a Pro+ Variant

TECNO’s Spark 20 Series is Getting a Pro+ Variant

It seems that TECNO wants to add more variants under its budget Spark 20 series: while we already have the Spark 20 Pro in the Philippines, TECNO confirmed in their global press release that there will be a Pro+ variant as well.

From the poster, the two most obvious differences between the Spark 20 Pro and Pro+ are that the latter has a large, circular camera module and a curved display–a first for the Spark series. While the Spark series is supposed to be TECNO’s budget offering, it seems that the brand has other plans for it.

The display is a 120hz curved AMOLED with a 1000 nit brightness and a punch hole for the 32-megapixel selfie camera. Judging from the renders, it appears that the Spark 20 Pro+ might be using the same panel as the one used on the ZERO 30 4G, which brings us to more interesting things.

Despite looking different from the ZERO 30 4G, the Spark 20 Pro+ has a few similarities with it: you are getting a Helio G99 processor that’s paired with 256GB storage, along with a 108-megapixel main camera. You do get more RAM with the Spark 20 Pro+ at 12GB, along with Android 14 out-of-the-box and dual microphones.

Since the Spark 20 Pro is priced at Php 7.5k in the Philippines, we expect the Pro+ to be priced at around Php 10k if TECNO plans to bring this model to the country.
