Aside from Infinix, TECNO is also busy bringing over its initial batch of 2024 offerings to the Philippines with the Spark 20 series. The Spark 20 Pro is the top-end variant, and it has a pre-order price of Php 7,499Â in the Philippines.
Looking through the specs of the Spark 20 Pro, it bears a lot of similarities to the HOT 40 Pro that Infinix announced globally last week. Like its Infinix doppelganger, the Spark 20 Pro comes with a Helio G99 processor that’s paired with 256GB internal storage and 8GB RAM, and has a 6.78-inch IPS display with a 120hz refresh rate and a punch-hole for a 32-megapixel selfie camera. You also get TECNO’s Dynamic Port, which is their own take to Apple’s Dynamic Island, along with a 108-megapixel main camera. You even get the same 5000mAh battery with 33w charging as well.
What are the differences between the Spark 20 Pro and HOT 40 Pro so far? Comparing both their spec sheets, TECNO’s offering adds more features like anIP53 rating and dual-view video. With TECNO being the more premium brand under the Transsion umbrella, we expect the Spark 20 Pro to have less bloatware than Infinix’s HOT 40 Pro—though we’re not sure if that also means more consistent software updates as well (we hope Transsion addresses this).
If you’re interested to buy the Spark 20 Pro, it’s available at TECNO’s Shopee store.
