The Cherry Aqua Tab S1 is Good for Hybrid Learning

Cherry continues to expand its tablet offerings with the DepEd-compliant Aqua Tab S1.

Despite being more focused on smart home products like its bladeless fan, smart vacuum cleaners, and baby cameras lately, Cherry also has devices that cater to students for their hybrid classes. One of these products is the Aqua Tab S1, which is the first Aqua-branded tablet from Cherry.

Being a tablet compliant with DepEd’s requirements, the Aqua Tab S1 comes with a UNISOC SC9863A processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage–the latter being expandable via MicroSD up to 256GB.

It has an 8-inch IPS display, along with a 5-megapixel front camera for video calls and an 8-megapixel rear camera in case students need to take a quick photo or two. Keeping the lights on is a 5100mAh battery with MicroUSB charging.

Connectivity is flexible with the Aqua Tab S1, as it has dual SIM slots–both supporting LTE connectivity–on top of Bluetooth and WiFi. It comes with Android 11 out of the box, and while it’s not the latest Android version, it should suffice the needs of any student.

The Cherry Aqua Tab S1 is priced at Php 6,999, which is affordable for a tablet that is meant for doing schoolwork. You can buy it via Cherry’s online store and through their offline stores nationwide.
