With the arrival of the Galaxy A54 and A34, we speculate that there might be more models to come under the 2023 line of Galaxy A-series models. While the Galaxy A74 may not exist and the Galaxy A14 did arrive in both 4G and 5G variants, the next model that’s set to arrive soon is the Galaxy A24.
Like its more expensive siblings, the Galaxy A24 will adopt the same design language, which means that it will also look similar to the Galaxy S23 series with the individual camera rings on the back. The display has rather thick bezels, and is slightly smaller than the Galaxy A34 at 6.5 inches. Unlike last year’s Galaxy A23, the A24 is getting a 90hz Super AMOLED display, making practically all of the 2023 Galaxy A-series equipped with one save for the Galaxy A14 and A04.
The Galaxy A24 will only have a 4G variant unlike the Galaxy A14, and will use a Helio G99 processor that’s more powerful than the Snapdragon 680 on paper. It will have 4GB RAM and 128GB storag,e along with the same camera setup found on the Galaxy A24–though the depth sensor is omitted, and the 50-megapixel main camera gets OIS. The selfie shooter also gets an upgrade with a 13-megapixel snapper.
Save for those upgrades, you also get a 5000mAh battery with 25w charging, along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner based on the leaked renders.
With the Galaxy A23 being priced at Php 13,990 at launch last year, we expect the A24 to be at the under Php 16k price point if you factor in the price increases Samsung implemented on the A34 and A54.
