Samsung officially unveils its 2022 line of Galaxy A-series of phones in the Philippines with the Galaxy A73, A53, A33, and A23. All four phones share the same back panel design and come with 5000mAh batteries with support for 25w wired charging, OIS on the main cameras, and Android 12 out of the box.
The Galaxy A53 and A33 debut Samsung’s Exynos 1280, which is a 5nm processor that slots in between the Snapdragon 720G used on the Galaxy A52Â and A72, and the Snapdragon 778G that’s used on the Galaxy A73 and A52S.

Despite all four phones bearing the same design language, the Galaxy A33 and A23 have a notch on their display, with the latter using a TFT panel, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and no IP rating. The Galaxy A23 is 4G only and comes with a 15w charger out of the box.
Moving to the Galaxy A73, Samsung’s top-end Galaxy A-series phone is the first to use a 108-megapixel sensor with OIS.
