The Redmi AirDots Pro 3 Gets ANC, Wireless Charging

Aside from the China version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro (which has 5G this time), Redmi also announced a new affordable pair of TWS earphones with the AirDots 3 Pro. New to the AirDots 3 Pro are the inclusion of ANC, low latency mode, and wireless charging—features you normally see on more premium TWS earbuds.

Inside the AirDots 3 Pro, you get 9mm drivers and 3 microphones per earbuds for optimal voice pickup and efficient noise cancellation. Speaking of ANC, Redmi claims that AirDots 3 Pro can filter up to 35db of noise. Bluetooth connectivity gets an upgrade with Bluetooth 5.2, which allows you to pair the TWS earbuds with two separate devices. The updated Bluetooth connectivity also gives the AirDots 3 Pro aa 69ms low latency mode.

As for battery life, the AirDots 3 Pro is rated for up to 6 hours of use (3 hours with ANC on) and up to 28 hours with the charging case. Topping it up can be done either by wireless charging or USB-C—with the latter offering 3 hours of playback in just 10 minutes. They are also friendly for workouts, as they come with an IPx4 rating.

Redmi AirDots 3 Pro Price

The AirDots 3 Pro is priced at CNY 349(~Php 2.7k) in China, and will go on sale on June 11. Its pricing makes them very, very tempting, as it offers a lot of features for under Php 3k. There’s no word yet if it will be available outside of China as of this writing. Knowing Redmi, the brand will most likely make its new budget TWS earbuds available globally with roughly the same price in China.
