Described as a life-proof phone, the XR20 has a rugged casing that is MIL-STD810H compliant and has an IP68 rating for full water and dust resistance. The 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, making you worry less about the need for screen protectors. The display is even optimized to work even with wet fingers or gloves.
The XR20 shares similarities to the X10 and X20, as it is powered by a 5G-ready Snapdragon 480 processor that is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage—the latter being expandable via MicroSD.
The cameras are simplified on the XR20, as you get a Zeiss-branded dual rear camera—each with its own LED flash. The setup comprises of an 48-megapixel f/1.8 main camera and 13-megapixel f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle camera. An 8-megapixel shooter, meanwhile, takes care of selfies.
Other notable features include a 4630mAh battery with support for 18w wired charging and 15w wireless charging, stereo speakers with OZO playback tech, side-mounded fingerprint scanner, and a custom button on top that can be mapped to open any app. Like the X10 and X20, the XR20 will have three major Android updates and up to four years of security updates.
Nokia XR20 price
The XR20 is priced at $550(~Php 27.7k) and will be available on August 24. There is no word yet if HMD Global’s latest phone will be available globally—as of this writing, the Nokia X10 and X20 are not yet official in the Philippines.
