The Samsung Galaxy F23 Does Not Ship with a Charger

While the Galaxy F-series is mostly exclusive to India, Samsung announced a new model with the Galaxy F23 that has a few interesting things.

Samsung Galaxy F23 5G Specs:

  • Snapdragon 750G processor
  • 4GB/6GB RAM
  • 128GB storage, expandable via MicroSD
  • 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD Display, 120hz refresh rate
  • 50-megapixel f/1.8 main camera with PDAF and OIS, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera
  • 8-megapixel f/2.2 selfie camera
  • 4G, LTE, 5G
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, side-mounted fingerprint scanner
  • 5000mAh battery
  • 25w charging
  • Android 12, OneUI 4.1

As a successor to last year’s Galaxy F22, the Galaxy F23 is now 5G-ready with its use of a Snapdragon 750G processor that’s paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. While you don’t get a Super AMOLED panel, the Galaxy F23 makes up for it with its use of a Full HD+, 120hz LCD screen measuring 6.6-inches.

Samsung kept the cameras on the F23 simpler, ditching the depth sensor and using a new 50-megapixel main camera. The battery is smaller at 5000mAh, but you get a faster 25w wired charging.

The catch, however, is that you don’t get any charger out of the box. The trend of not including chargers out of the box was initially applicable to all Samsung flagship phones (Galaxy S and Galaxy Z), and it appears that a number of models from the Galaxy A and Galaxy M series are also shipping without a charger.

The Galaxy F23 starts at RS 15,999(~Php 10.9k) for the 4GB/128GB variant and RS 16,999(~Php 11.6k) for the 6GB/128GB variant.
