Enthusiast blog SamMobile has confirmed that Samsung’s well-rumored high-end clamshell phone, the SM-G9298 – now known as the Leader 8 – is now official. Unfortunately, according to the report, the stylish Leader 8 is unlikely to leave the Chinese mainland for other markets.
The previous leaks and tips on the SM-G9298 hit the mark on the premium flip phone’s specifications. Here’s the official hardware configuration of the Leader 8 from Samsung China.

Sadly, the snazzy Samsung Leader 8 will only be available in China, via telco China Mobile. Samsung has not yet quoted a price tag for the clamshell handset and has not announced availability details outside China.
