An entry-level 18:9 Display offering?
After Alcatel teased its upcoming 18:9 display smartphones at CES 2018, new photos of the Alcatel 3C was spotted recently.
A budget offering, the Alcatel 3C is said to sport a 6-inch HD+ display, along with a MediaTek MT8321 SoC, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3000mAh battery. For its cameras, the Alcatel 3C is rumored to sport am 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The chipset of choice is pretty intriguing, as the MT8321 is meant for tablets and not smartphones according to MediaTek’s website.
As for the price, the Alcatel 3C is reported to be priced at $120 (~Php 6.1k), which looks to be a bit pricey considering its internals.
Along with the Alcatel 1 and Alcatel 5, the Alcatel 3C is slated to launch during MWC 2018.
