vivo announced a new budget midrange phone in Indonesia with the Y35. The Y35 does have similarities with the India-only Y33T while getting a few upgrades. The display on the Y35 now has 90hz refresh rate and covers 96% of the NTSC color gamut, while charging speeds have been upgraded to vivo’s 44w wired solution.
It’s also worth noting that vivo advertises the Y35 to have an IP54 rating, making it much safer against splashes than the Y33T. Save for those differences, you still get a Snapdragon 680 processor that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, along with a 5000mAh battery, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 50-megapixel main camera that’s accompanied by two 2-megapixel cameras.
