vivo Pad Air Official in China, Starts at Php 15k

After vivo teased it last week, the Pad Air has gone official in China as a compelling mid-range tablet. It’s a powerful tablet with its use of a Snapdragon 870 processor that can be paired with as much as 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage, which is plenty for a tablet.

The display is a 11.5-inch IPS panel that has a 2.8K (or 2880×1800) resolution, which is a relatively high-end display. You also get a quad-speaker system on the Pad Air, along with support for vivo’s Pencil 2 stylus. Keeping the lights on is a 8500mAh battery that supports vivo’s 44w FlashCharge solution.

As the name implies, the main selling point of the Pad Air is that it is a thin and light tablet. It is only 6.67mm and weighs 530 grams–which is an impressive feat considering that it comes with an aluminum unibody build. The circular module on the back houses an 8-megapixel rear camera, while you get a 5-megapixel selfie camera in front. Software is taken care of by Android 13-based OriginOS 3.0.

The vivo Pad Air starts at CNY 1799 (~Php 15k) for the 8GB/128GB model and goes up to CNY 2599 (~Php 21k) for the 12GB/512GB model. While we don’t know if vivo plans to make it available outside of China,
