vivo Unveils V29e with Color Changing Back

While we know already about the V29, vivo announced a V29e as well just like with the V27 series. Unlike the V27e, the V29e is a 5G-ready device with the use of a Snapdragon 695 processor. You get 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage on the V29e, and you also get a 6.78-inch 120hz curved AMOLED display with a punch-hole for a 50-megapixel selfie shooter with eye Autofocus. In essence, the V29e appears to be using the same panel found on the V27 5G.

Going to the back, the Artistic Red variant has a unique color-changing design that shifts from Red to Black when hit by UV light–that’s more dynamic compared to the color-changing glass backs vivo used on previous V-series models. As for the cameras, you get a straightforward setup that consists of a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

Keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh battery that supports 44w charging, while the software is taken care of by Android 13-based FunTouchOS 13.

The V29e is priced at INR 26999(~Php 19k) for the 128GB model and INR 28999(~Php 20k) for the 256GB model. Both variants will go on sale in India on September 7, and there’s no word yet if vivo plans to bring the V29e to the Philippines.
