A vivo V40e is Also in the Works

While we all know that the V40 is arriving soon in the Philippines, it’s no secret that there will eventually be a more affordable e variant in the works as well. Ahead of its imminent launch, a render of the vivo V40e has surfaced, along with its alleged specs.

The alleged render reveals that the V40e will look similar to the V40, but lacks the ZEISS branding on the camera module. The Aura Light is still there, and it appears to have a dual rear camera setup. The colorway shown is Royal Bronze, and you also get a curved AMOLED display—with vivo claiming a peak brightness of 4500nits. Just like the V40, the V40e is touted to be a slim midrange phone that packs a large 5500mAh battery inside with support for 80w charging. We expect it to have stellar battery life like the V30e, and the faster charging speeds is an added bonus.

As for the internals, the V40e will reportedly be powered by a Dimensity 7300 processor, which is an excellent midrange chip based on our experience. It will come with at least 8GB RAM, and we’re not surprised if vivo will offer the V40e with 12GB RAM.

According to the latest report, the V40e is expected to go official in India by September, so we’re looking at a possible October launch in the Philippines.
