While we are waiting for the official launch of the V50 in the Philippines, we spotted the pre-order promo of vivo’s upcoming midrange phone at a store, and the deal looks enticing.

Aside from confirming the Ancora Red colorway and the ZEISS co-branding, those who will pre-order the V50 from February 27 to March 14 will get a Php 2,000 discount, a pair of vivo TWS 3e earbuds, and a VIP card that gives an extended warranty and 6 months screen insurance. Judging by the pre-order period, our guess is that the V50 may launch in the Philippines either on February 27 or March 14. The former might make more sense, as the V50 will be unveiled in India on February 17.

From what we know so far, the V50 is expected to have a quad-curved display like the X200 Pro, a 50-megapixel selfie camera, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Like its predecessor, you’re getting ZEISS co-engineering with the V50, and we presume that the two rear cameras will be a 50-megapixel main shooter and 50-megapixel ultrawide shooter.

The V50 will reportedly be better than its predecessor in the battery department, as it will boast a 6000mAh cell that supports 90w charging, and will be one of the slimmest phones in the market to have a 6000mAh battery.
