After unveiling the V40 Lite series last month, vivo is updating its Y series line with the arrival of the Y19s in the Philippines on November 16. This budget phone has the same design as the V40 Lite with a 4-year battery health and IP64 rating. vivo also touts the Y19s as a durable budget phone with its anti-drop design.
Aside from being durable, the Y19s is sleek and light at 8.1mm thin and only 198g, all while packing a large 5500mAh battery inside. Available in Glacier Blue and Glossy Black, the Y19s has a Dynamic Light Show feature that’s customizable for notification reminders or to sync along with your music.
Other features of the Y19s include 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, 15w USB-C charging, a 6.68-inch 90hz IPS display with a notch for a 5-megapixel selfie camera, stereo speakers, a 50-megapixel main camera, and Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14 out of the box.
While vivo will reveal more details about the Y19s on November 16, the 8GB/128GB is available in Shopee for Php 5,999Â and you can get it for as low as Php 4,499 with vouchers. We expect the 256GB variant to be priced at under Php 8k, so stay tuned for the official reveal.
