The Y200i looks different from the usual design of vivo phones that have been released in the Philippines with a circular camera module that has a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Its display is something you’d expect on an entry-level device with a 6.72-inch 120hz IPS display that has a punch-hole for a 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Its other unique aspect is its battery, where you get a large 6000mAh cell that supports vivo’s 44w charging solution. Powering the Y200i is also unique with its use of a Snapdragon  4 Gen 2 processor that’s paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 2.2 storage.

Other features of the Y200i include stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an IP64 rating, making this an intriguing entry-level offering from vivo that we wish is made available outside of China.

The Y200i starts at CNY 1599(~Php 13k) for the 8GB/256GB model and goes up to CNY 1999(~Php 16k) for the 12GB/512GB model. It will be available in China on April 27, and we don’t know yet if this particular vivo phone will go global under a different name.
