After becoming official in India and Malaysia, vivo brings the entry-level Y27 to the Philippines with a Php 9k price tag. As a successor to last year’s Y16, the Y27 brings in a lot of upgrades across the board, starting with support for vivo’s 44w fast charging. This makes the Y27 the most affordable vivo phone to date to offer fast charging.

The display is also better on the Y27, as you are getting a Full HD+ resolution and a slightly bigger 6.64-inch IPS panel. The rear camera gets a significant upgrade too, as the Y27 packs a 50-megapixel main camera that’s accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. You also get a big performance boost as well with its use of a Helio G85 processor that’s is significantly more powerful than the Helio P35 used by its predecessor.

Other features of the Y27 include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB-C port, headphone jack, a 5000mAh battery, IP54 rating, and Android 13-based FunTouchOS 13 out of the box.
