The Redmi Note 12 series has finally arrived in the Philippines, with the Pro+ model being the most premium offering in the line. The main highlight of the most premium Redmi Note 12 variant is its 200-megapixel ISOCELL HMX sensor that’s used on the main camera. Aside from having an insanely high resolution, it also comes with OIS–which means that it should be a very capable shooter on paper.

Of course, Xiaomi made sure that everything is right with its camera capabilities: you have a Dimensity 1080 processor that natively supports 200-megapixel cameras, a large 5000mAh battery that supports Xiaomi’s fast 120w wired charging, and a top-notch 120hz AMOLED display for viewing all the photos and videos you took with it.

DxOMark is impressed with the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ as a mid-range phone, and it even thinks that it has a better overall camera performance compared to more expensive mid-range phones despite having a so-so ultra-wide camera.
