Xiaomi 15 Ultra also makes Global Debut at MWC 2025

Just only a few days after making its debut in China, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra joins the global stage at MWC 2025 together with the standard Xiaomi 15. Comparing it to the China version, the main difference with the global Xiaomi 15 Ultra is a smaller 5410mAh battery that supports a faster 80w wireless charging solution (wired charging remains the same at 90w).

The rest of the specs are the same as the China version, and that includes a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, a 6.73-inch 120hz WQHD+ 120hz AMOLED display with 3200nits peak brightness, and a powerful Leica-branded camera system.

To recap, the main shooter uses a 1-inch LYT-900 sensor with a 23mm focal length equivalent and a fixed f/1.63 aperture, while the ultrawide uses a 1/2.51-inch ISOCELL JN5 sensor with a 14mm focal length equivalent and a f/2.2 aperture. The short telephoto, on the other hand, uses a 1/2.51-inch IMX858 sensor with a 75mm focal length equivalent and a f/1.8 aperture, and the selfie shooter uses the same 32-megapixel sensor found on its predecessor.

New to the 15 Ultra is a 1/1.4-inch, 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP9 sensor with a 100mm focal length equivalent and a f/2.6 aperture that Xiaomi claims can capture up to 136% more light than the 14 Ultra’s 50-megapixel periscope camera.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra starts at 1499 Euros(~Php 91k) in Europe.
